Transdisciplinary Mentoring Community (TMC)

About TMC

Developing a network of mentors is crucial to the graduate student experience, but it is often difficult to seek out mentorship outside of your home department.

As part of Mentoring Your Way, our Transdisciplinary Mentoring Community pairs faculty mentors with small groups of graduate students to engage in conversations and accelerate connections beyond one’s home department throughout the academic year. The aim is to foster mentoring and professional development beyond students’ advisors and across A&S graduate programs.

Our first TMC cohort launches in August 2024. Check back to learn more about TMC’s pilot year.
