      Zackary Rehfuss joined the WashU in 2022 to obtain his PhD. He is from Big Bear Lake, California and he received his B.S. degree in physics from the University of California, San Diego. Zack’s previous research while at UCSD was on  quantum criticality and quantum phase transitions by means of physical property measurements under high pressure and low temperature. Outside of the lab, Zack enjoys mountaineering, cooking and playing the guitar.
